Current legislation, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, applies to all workplaces regardless of the number of employees and requires employers to provide adequate training in fire awareness for all members of their staff. In Scotland, requirements on general fire safety are covered in Part 3 of the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005, supported by the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006.

Our online fire safety training course is aimed at all employees to assist them in identifying and reducing the risk that fire presents in the workplace.

Courses One and Two Combined - Fire Marshal

This course is aimed at those you wish to nominate for the role of Fire Marshal and includes both Fire Awareness and Fire Extinguisher Theory. At the DCTG members’ price of £21, this is a cheaper way of completing both Fire Awareness and Extinguisher which would otherwise have cost fifty pounds (£25 per person, for each of the two courses for non-DCTG members)

Each module is followed by a short set of randomised questions; these tests must be completed before the course is completed. When you purchase the course you have an option to click if you work in a care home which then delivers a course addressing the issues faced in your workplace.
  • DCTG member price - £21.00 +VAT (non-member price £35+VAT each)

These online tutorials are suitable for staff and managers of companies of all sizes.  A certificate is produced for personnel files.
